Transcription of the after Fajr Majlis: Thurs – 6/2/2025 – MTD Masjid
Next Wednesday inshaAllah is Laylatul Bara’ah, the 15th night of Shaban. Ulama ikraam say, after Laylatul Qadr, there is no night that is greater than this 15th night of Shabaan. Allah Ta’ala’s special rahmat and mercy decends. Allah Ta’ala forgives the whole ummah. Every person gets his maghfirat. Allah ta’ala forgives every single person on this night. Such a mubarak night, such a blessed night, that is coming next week.
One of the things that Nabi Sallallahu alayhi wasallam explained, that when everyone is getting forgiven, there will be few people that won’t get forgiven. From them, one of those, is a person, a mushaahin, a person who’s got enmity in his heart, got a dirty heart, filthy heart, got hatred in his heart for others, enmity in his heart for others, such a person will be deprived. Allah Ta’ala save us, we’ve got one week before this night comes, to try and clean our hearts. We don’t have any malice, hatred, jealousy, for any single person. Hearts are completely clean, completely pure. And then when this night comes, then inshaAllah, we can receive the maximum benefit from Allah subhaanahu wa Ta’ala on this night.
One day I remember I asked Hadhrat Mufti Sahib damat barakaatuhum, that when this Mubarak night is coming now, how do you know your heart is clean? You see, an easy way is just make this intention, Ya Allah, anyone did anything to me, I forgive everybody, forgive everyone. I don’t hold anything in my heart against anyone, no grudges, no hatred. Whoever did whatever, everyone is ma’af. You can say it also and express it also. And if there’s any problem with any person, ask them for ma’af. I’m sorry if I came out maybe harsh to you or said something wrong to you. Big night is coming now. I don’t want to be deprived of Allah’s mercy. Please make me ma’af. So in that way, what happens is our hearts are completely clean. There’s no enmity.
This is something Allah Ta’ala really loves. A person, he cleans out his heart. He doesn’t harbour any malice, jealousy or hatred in his heart for anybody. In this way, we receive maximum benefit from Allah subhanahu wa Ta’ala. May Allah give us the tawfiq, inshaAllah. We’ve got just one week left before this mubarak night is coming. And we’ll try and cleanse our hearts from any kind of evil, malice, jealousy for him, inshaAllah. May Allah give us all the tawfiq.
